GET TO KNOW ME
I started in customer service about twelve years ago and spent eight of those years at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. I learned how to quickly resolve guests concerns, calmly and discreetly handle escalated incidents, and adapt to the ever-changing environment including both recognizing and respecting families from different cultures across the globe. In addition to this, and more relevant, I have spent the last five years mastering my craft by learning the ins and outs of administrative/executive assisting across multiple industries. These include mortgaging, transportation/hospitality, finance, events, destination management, construction, and now entertainment (film/music).
My administrative proficiencies are:
Project management/coordination
Heavy calendar management and maneuvering
Bookkeeping (Invoicing and Expense Reporting)
Process improvement to better streamline operations
Innovative and resourceful, I have a knack for developing unique solutions to complex issues, maintaining an optimistic mindset and positive nature to figure out what is needed to break it down into manageable sections.
Helping others has always been my purpose. From early on, I regularly found myself being the first to drop what I’m doing to support someone with whatever they needed whether I knew them or not. Growing up in the rougher part of town not only taught me to be resilient, but to be kind to those around us and to help those in need.
Originally I went to college for American Sign Language Interpreting. It became a passion in high school and I wanted to be an ally for the Deaf/Hard of Hearing communities. Although I wasn’t able to complete my degree, I am still conversationally fluent in ASL and will continue to do my part in supporting their community. I have, however, pivoted to a career where I’m still able to assist others and fulfill my purpose.
With my efficient administrative knowledge and skillset, I look forward to learning more about how I may contribute to the success of your business and the potential opportunity to work with you.
